We have aged this unique blend of hot peppers for up to a year in seasoned oak barrels that once held Kentucky bourbon, BLiS maple syrup, and Founder’s Kentucky Breakfast Stout. The result is a complex hot pepper sauce with a kick of chilis combined with hints of chocolate, maple, hops, garlic, vanilla, wood and spice in one giant blast of umami.
This is the perfect hot sauce for creating delectable buffalo hot wings, bloody mary's or enhancing any dish you use hot pepper sauce as an ingredient.

I have been purchasing the BLiS Blast for years from various sources. First was directly from BLiS, and then from Williams Sonoma, and when their stock dwindled, I was forced back to buying directly from BLiS. This doesn't really bother me because the end result is a hot sauce that I find myself craving on pretty much anything. It's hard to put into words what a hot sauce tastes like without sounding like a wine-connoisseur, but the flavor is bold. It's like your favorite $2.00 Louisiana hot sauce, but fattened with all the flavors you wished it had, but didn't know it until you tried it. I would put this stuff on donuts if I ate them, and wedding cake if I ever got married.
Oh, and my deaf cat liked it. A LOT.

Excellent flavor without being overpowering or ridiculously hot. Don't get me wrong, I like heat, but not to the point of ringing my ears or making me break into a sweat. Blis Blast has enough spiciness that you know it's there, yet enhances the flavor of so many different type of foods, especially meats. Try it on pizza sometime to give it a special kick and really enhances the pepperoni. I use it so much, I keep it on the counter and put a snow cone syrup dispenser on the bottle so I can easily put it on whatever I want. I'm sold on this stuff and keep buying it as long as they make it!
This is my favorite red pepper sauce.
I prefer it for chicken and beef.
The bourbon barrel aging gives it a really nice zing.
