We are going to let Claudette share one of her favorite recipes with you but before we do that an introduction is in order:
"My earliest memory of being interested in cooking was watching my grandma cook, which also resulted in my first broken arm at age 3. I come from a family of food lovers, my family owned a restaurant in Guadalajara, MX which I spent most of my summers helping out at as a kid. Once my son James was born I decided to follow my culinary aspirations and I haven’t looked back since.
Cooking is immensely gratifying to me and I am constantly looking to develop my skills and grow as a chef. I love feeding and seeing peoples their reactions to the food as well as being a mentor to green cooks. After attending culinary school in San Diego I was fortunate to work for some amazing chefs. I learned so much while working in the industry.
Being around such high quality and expectations helped inspire me even more about what I do and to always strive to be a better cook."
