Aged in our cured bourbon maple barrels, this limited batch of Harwood Smoked Soy Sauce has been smoked with Michigan cherry wood for several days to infuse a subtle but definitive smokiness that sets BLiS smoked soy apart from all the others. To represent the use of cherry wood and honor the Michigan cherry farmers, we have produced a label made from cherry wood.
The raw product, Yamato Soy, is the same shoyu that we use for all BLiS soy sauce products. Aged in Kanazawa Japan and then imported to age in our proprietary aging process, this non-GMO soy brings to the palate flavor notes of chocolate, cocoa, vanilla, spice, and oak with a viscous umami kick.

Truly outstanding. This has become a staple of my pantry... nothing else comes close when adding the finishing touch to a meal. More than once I’ve had friends refer back to that “incredible soy sauce” from (years earlier) when they had been over for dinner.
Outstanding way to add a smoky complexity to Japanese dishes. The smoke is present without overwhelming the soy, which has a lot of depth in its own right. Really enjoying this one; going to be a pantry staple along with the sherry vinegar.
Marinaded chicken with it before grilling.
My wife and I both cook and we use it for sauces and for barbecuing.
I made one of the best batches of jerky with this Soy Sauce as my marinade base.
Expensive but if you’re going to treat yourself, this is the Soy Sauce to do it with.
