A few years back siting, in a sushi place talking with my boyfriend about the bourbon maple cranberry smoked ham and cioppino I was making over the weekend…a gentleman next to us joined our conversation. We learned he was a 4 star chef and his favorite bourbon barrel aged maple syrup was Blis. At the time, I was purchasing from Three Rivers thinking I had found heaven in a bottle. He told me to give Blis a try. He swore I would never buy another…and he was right. AMAZING! RICH! SWEET! BOURBON! THICK! We love it. It is now the syrup we use when smoking hams and pork ribs + baking, stuffing and grilling chops!
